1000 ROSES

The “1000 Roses” is a time-based installation, which naturally changes its look every day during the exhibition time.

The viewer is invited to pay a few visits in order to observe the change over time of the flowers and reflect on the fact that it is not always what the object looks like is what it actually is. The issues of transformation, aging, loss and resurrection are also to reflect upon in this installation.

The installation consists of 500 live red roses and 500 artificial roses evenly scattered across the floor of the gallery space accompanied by time-lapse video projections on the exhibition walls.
