IMPERFECTION OF FORM

​

          Through self-portraits I try to find ways to self-analysis and self-acceptance. In my project (with the working title ‘Imperfection of form’) I go through various well-known art works from different art periods and different mediums depicting the male body, and relate this to my self-portraits. I hereby question the presence of canons in relation to the human body and convict the peer pressure existing in our current society.
